Well hey, congratulations on just making it to the final stage and getting a half hour of television spotlight. :) And like you said, at least it might help future contestants with disabilities get on there, and you got to win $1000 for your efforts. Very cool. Yeah, I was kind of young at the time ...

Yeah, I agree completely about the "50 (alternative) songs from 1993-1996." It seems to be what 94.9 plays at least some of the time, and what KROQ plays all too often. I do enjoy KROQ's flashback lunch hour, though, and sometimes I'll wander over when Jonesy plays a song I'm not that into...

Yeah, I read in the Yahoo group that Jack's was down earlier. Perhaps when Verizon gets their stuff together, or when Jack ditches them for a superior ISP. And if it's a legal matter, I don't think Jack would sue Indie for mentioning his forum on the air. Even if he did, I'm sure Trixie could provid...

Yeah, I'll agree about the "stoner" schtick. It's a bit played out already. But, Indie still beats out Halloran or any other DJ/station the other 364 days of the year.

Miche - that song was apparently some 80s song, although I've never heard it before. It's a band called Aztec Camera, the song is titled Oblivious.

Jonesy and Cherie Currie pics

I stumbled upon some pretty cool pics of Cherie Currie and her family at the Indie Studios, with her son jamming along with Jonesy. Just thought I'd post in case anyone was interested.
