My open letter to Indie

Dear Indie-
Thanks so much for the Office Party bash. I had a blast. You put on a high class shindig. Yes, I did go to the "other" concert at Universal...but it didn't come close to the community of the Indie concert...nor did it have the feel of we're-doing-this-cause-we-like-our-listeners-and-we-enjoy-these-bands like the Indie party was. Theirs was more of the we're-doing-this-cause-we-can-make-money-by-selling-tickets;-increase-ad-revenue-by-having-listeners-have-to-listen-to-our-crap-to-win-tickets;-and-force-these-bands-to-play-at-our-gig-so-they-will-have-a-place-on-our-rigid-playlist vibe.
