KROQ (106.7) is making a big stink over their webcasts... which is
cool of course... we want the world to know about the original home
of "new rock"... and all the cool stuff they play.

They need it because INDIE 103.1 streams all over the world... and
has major fans and addicts.

The absolute coolest thing KROQ has is Rodney Bingenheimer...

he is the only truly INDIE part of the venerable old KROQ. (which
began to gain fans about 1978 or so...)

Rodney has been there since then... he plays what no one else "gets"

he fucking discovered COLDPLAY before ANYONE ok?

David Bowie sends him thank you cards too... see what I mean?

ok we need to get Rodney on the web... it's time to email KROQ.

also start hitting their myspace page with comments like

"Start Streaming Rodney On The 'Roq NOW!"

Who the hell is Coldplay? Never heard of them. And at the time, back in the late 70's early 80's Rodney was the only thing I knew! I don't know what kind of person he is nor do I know anything about him other than the only way I got to hear good shite was through Rodney on the Roq tapes brought up to Bakersfield from LA. Other than that, I know nothing! In the infamous words of Sgt Shutlz "I see nossing, I know NOSSing!"
