What's the point?! I'll just buy the 3 groups they keep playing over and over and just listen to them when I want....

I just wish KCRW had music before 9 a.m. I need some company from 6:30 - 7:00 til I get to work at 9:00.... They have morning NPR news which is just too depressing for me!

Ditto...I've resorted to KBIG, Jack, KOLA, KEARTH, KLOS, KROQ, Hot 92 Jamz, and the jazz station...and that still doesn't cut it....

I tried KXLU this morning but it's too sedate for me. Checked out Adam Corolla but nothing too exciting going on there. I hate Mark & Brian so KLOS is out. KROQ is ok except for the god-awful playlists.

I feel homeless!

I got my FM Transmitter and tried the iPod....didn't work....So I'll either have to do one of two things...
1) get a new radio with an aux or a cassette, or
2) start carrying around 20 million cds again...

I tried that TransCast thingy with my MP3 player also (I have a Dell Jukebox so I can't say "iPod" lol)

It sucked.... so I have "around 20 million cds" in my car..... which also sucks.

I am thinking about a new car this summer and it will definitely have a plug for my Jukebox, or I will have one installed (which you could also do, Gooch!)

Yeah...I think I'll look into it....it was just weird trying to listen to the Adolescents with Jazz playing in the background....
It definitely gave Kids of the Black Hole a new sound...

I don't like to hear people talk in the morning, so I just play my own music. I find it more challenging to keep up with my own stuff than with a station. Indie's still good to listen to. I looooove Feel My Heat, but if it were gone, I would still listen to the station because they surprise me sometimes and they still play stuff I like.

"Indy" now gets flipped past like every other station. If I like what they are playing, I'll stay there. Except lately even if I like the song, I get a shitty feeling and tune out anyway.
And this only applies in the car. I never tune it in at home.

I'm ipod exclusive. 14000+ songs and growing.
I tried that cheap FM transmitter and it's crap. I bought another one that plugs into the cig. lighter thingamagig and put down my antenna and it works great. :D Plus it charges while it plays. Double bonus!

It's called MONSTER iCarPlay Wireless plus. It cost me about a hundred bucks, but probably the best $100 I've spent in a long time. I got it at circuit city.

Do those 20 votes represent all 20 indie listeners?

or 10 indie listeners who voted twice?

My vote was a bit of a waste. I regret having voted other now.

I just saw one online for like $80

Is it better than the belkin tunecaster? I tried that and there was always so much static

I've never tried the belkin, but what might help is to remove your antenna or retract it if possible. I get no static in my car which the antenna retracts but my wifes ride has an antenna that is stationary and I get static there.

ah, that might be the problem

my antenna is wired into my rear windshield, so it can't be retracted

next car will have a direct jack for my mp3 player
