This isn't about Miche anymore - she can fight her own battles if she so wishes this is about you and your delusional "obsorbtion"

It was obvious to us who zzzzz was, it came onto the Jones blog and slagged off every single one of Miche's posts.

Now some of you think that a good thing.

It set itself up as the arbiter of judgement, it came onto Jack's to attempt to finish the job, on Miche, it thought that it might succeed here. Some of you think it still might.

It unfortunately chose to widen its net to include me and Floratina in its accusations of blame.

It still doesn't apologise? In fact it carries on now as if it never posted:

Dicky and the MMS was dissapeared from the radio one very sad morning

A few people posted their sadness and outrage at that development

A really nasty lady came on and started gloating about how great everything was with the MMS gone

The sad and outraged got even more outraged that the nasty lady was being so nasty, and started this thread to try and make sure that the nasty lady can't hurt people anymore.

Then there were cartoon boobies, and some off color comments, and then a decent man came in and tried to defend the nasty lady, and got caught up in the arguement about why ANOTHER board was shut down. Oh yeah, and there are secret identities, and subterfuge around, as well...

Uh, that's not the issue here. Yes, people are upset that the MMS is gone. My biggest complaint was the way Indie dealed with it. I still love many shows on Indie and continue to listen and post about Jonesy, Feel My Heat, etc. But that is not why everyone here has a problem with you.

The problem with you is your conitnued smug attitude and snide remarks. But we managed to ignore for a LONG time and had the decency not to say anything to your posts, even if we disagreed with them. We refrained from posting nasty comments to preserve the harmony and prevent an argument. If you had just a fraction of that decency, you would have given us the same respect and allowed us to have a thread remembering the MMS show, things would have remained the same.
But alas, you are you, and you just had to post an obnoxious comment basically gloating and reveling in people's misery. That might sound a bit dramatic, but just read through the posts directly before your first comment on that thread. Maybe that means nothing to you since you hated Dicky from day one. But imagine if Halloran got yanked off the air, or if KROQ put Indie out of business altogether, as they have with so many other radio stations over the years. I'm sure you'd react the same.

Just because we choose not to discuss publicly the real reasons for dicky's dismissle, does not mean that the reasons he is giving are true.

That might sound a bit dramatic, but just read through the posts directly before your first comment on that thread. Maybe that means nothing to you since you hated Dicky from day one. But imagine if Halloran got yanked off the air, or if KROQ put Indie out of business altogether, as they have with so many other radio stations over the years. I'm sure you'd react the same.

So there is no need to try avoiding blame or passing the buck. The "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" excuse isn't going to work any more. The issue with you lies squarely with YOU. For someone who flaunts around their supposed intelligence and greatness, I've never met anyone that was so notoriously inept at communicating and dealing with people.

Kevin, I'm not "avoiding blame or passing the buck." I acknowledge completely and totally that everyone was grieving and I didn't share in that grief. Was I wrong to speak up when everyone wanted to vent their pro-Dicky sentiments? Perhaps I was being insensitive. I'll own that.

And I'm hardly smug. For months, everyone's beaten me into a pulp because I didn't like Dicky, so I kept quiet. Didn't say half the stuff I was thinking about him. And even in this moment, I only said one brief thing. I could have said a lot more. To me, I was being somewhat respectful, given the situation.

I certainly wasn't then, nor am I now "gloating". I actually feel sad for Dicky and for those who miss him.

Since then, I've been torn up one side and down the other. Ripped apart viciously, more vicious than I've ever spoken about ANYONE in here. And still have said nothing in response. Because, I, like Chris, know the secret agendas at work here.

All that really matters to me is that there is a new day at Indie. The rest of all this is just words.

And, frankly, if you have an issue with me, I'd rather you say it. I don't shy away from discussion.

"things would have remained the same"? The crew in here has disliked me for a LONG time simply because of my feelings for Dicky. There is absolutely no changing that, whether I say something or not. I'm sure of that.

But trust me when I tell you that for just as many that seem to hate me in here, there are others who read this board who share my sentiments. Who else is speaking for them?

it seemed damn sudden to me, one minute i was listeing to dicky,
the next day he wasnt there and no reason or explaination,
that was sudden to ME for sure .

My issue with the MMS was always with the show. That's what people don't get about me.

Dicky the person...as much as he hurt me, as much as his friends in here continue to hurt me...I still don't wanna see him hurting. More than he already is.

Contrary to the way everyone paints me in here, I'm a compassionate person. And I can't compound the situation with more hurt.

And Gidge, as far as me and Shovel being alike, obviously he has more integrity than me, cause it took him this long to say ANYTHING about it.

No, it won't be "his undoing" either. The truth of the matter is best kept under wraps.
