I'd like to take it one step further...delete her account and block any/all ISPs that she uses to post here....that way if she re-registers....she still can't post....

Why not just set up another indie forum, and moderate it by invitation only?

Why should all of US have to leave when SHE is the problem? She already has numerous blog sites to bore people to tears with her lists and rants.....we belong here...she does NOT.....

It would be easier to set up another board, then to listen to this bickering day in and out. This is jacks creation, it's a public forum, no one should be kicked out (except for the ridiculously and profanely off-topic).

I do think an ignore button would help, though.

So let me get this straight....it was ok for the original zzzzzzz account to be tossed but not Boo Hoo's???? The majority of people who post here want her gone....the MAJORITY of members want her GONE....not just me....this is a community and the members have spoken....

Jack owns this forum. He shouldn't care what the majority wants, his priority is what HE wants.

Why is Boo Hoo getting all this attention? Just ignore the ones you hate.

But WE are the ones that keep this place alive and vital....

what you are suggesting is easier said than done, I am afraid....it is difficult to ignore such profane insensitivity to those that I consider my friends....I actually hang out with a large number of the people that post here and the ones that I don't...we keep in touch by PM and email....she does none of those things...because nobody WANTS to be around her....

I suppose we could all go somewhere else and let this place die a slow death...but if we all did a mass exodus...this would no longer be Jack's Shack....instead it would be The House that Boo Hoo Killed...and that would be sad....

I believe it has mod status on this board.

Glenda....Jack has found an ignore module...but once you click ignore...you cannot undo it....I think that he is concerned that somebody might click the ignore option by accident and then not be able to rectify the error....

As for the irreversible ignore feature, I'd just put in a double positive option. "Are you sure you want to ignore Miche?' "Last Chance! By clicking this you will ignore Miche FOREVER!'

He says that she doesn't....but if you will notice...she IS the moderator of the archives....
