...thanks for being in it...

If you are a band...how the hell do you cancel Coachella...

Well Glenn...I don't believe that the Doves cancelled Coachella...I believe that they just aren't performing....

If I read that wrong and you meant how could a band cancel an appearance at Coachella...I dunno....but I guess if you can't talk then it would follow that you couldn't sing...and who knows...maybe the Chicago Lalapalooza is more important than Coachella to the Doves...

A little Doves trivia:

Did you know that DEVO used to use that name themselves when opening up? Yup...they'd come out in different attire and bill themselves as the Doves...as in SEE DEVO...also playing The DOVES....I guess it was a letter play on Devo...any way...when I saw them in 79...the Doves opened up for 'em...~wink~

Oh man, how sucky for Goochie and Larry (I think he said he was going also). This is the 2nd year a great band has pulled out at the last minute. Last year Wilco cancelled right before Coachella cause I think the lead singer, Jeff Tweedy checked himself into rehab. Psh, can't you pick the week after to kick drugs?!? Kidding, of course. But hopefully Wilco pulls off a great set this weekend.

I though Lalapalooza was finished...done..kaput.

Maybe T&S will be playing a second set to replace the Doves so you can them twice.

Yeah, and maybe he wouldn't have made it through Coachella to GET to rehab. You gotta do what you gotta do...

How did 'Want NIN's With Teeth?" morph in to this conversation??

Well...if you wanna "hear" the whole CD, go here. It's an mp3 file that you can feel free to pull off.
