...I remember licorice Pizza when I was a kid(oh yeah when I was young)
They'd have a living room setup in the front...free licorice...play anything
ya wanted to hear....cool drug paraphenelia....Sam Goody bought em out
in the 80's.....haven't been very sentimental about record store in a long
time...if ya know what I mean.....AAAARRRRRHHHHHH!!!!
....They're all agents of the corporate conspiracy MAN!!! :x :x

Jeez.....I think it was 19th....I'll have to spin by to make sure....we had a Liquorice Pizza in Santa Ana as well....on Bristol and McFadden....my brother gave me David Bowie's Hunky Dory in a L. Pizza bag when I was in third grade....I wanted the Osmonds and was sure that was in that beautiful bag....I have said before....I was the ONLY kid in third grade who knew all the words to Queen Bitch....;)

Wow a gift from a brother(how novel)...I got beat up If I was caught listening to my brothers LP's...I used to risk my life to hear The Who,
Rod Stewart, Led Zeppelin, Mountain.....No Bowie though...My Bro's
were straight homophobes...still are!....God! The Osmonds...loved em!
...but when I heard Rod stewarts cover of twisting the night away I
flipped....listened so much I ruined that LP...but I payed for it

...ah sharing...I feel much better now....actually I'd rather not talk about
it anymore :D

My brother is 10 years older and the worst he ever did to me was to threaten to leave me at Burger King when he would burp really loud and I would make his say EXCUSE ME......

Yeah....it's a long story about my brother and I...suffice to say...we adopted one another so we never had any real sibling rivalry....my father was 10 years older than the person I consider my brother and his parents (my brother) were going through a nasty divorce and he was having a bad time at home, so he moved in with us. I was six and he was sixteen (which follows, that my dad was twenty six)....so, no noogies, purple nirples or crap like that.....

Well that sounds better than being choked blue into unconsciousness....

Back when both my kids lived with me...whenever they fought...I used to
make em kiss 'n' hug...worked everytime...but I dont think living with
their mothers half a dozen boyfriends helped much...did get me my 14 daughter back though....Ah family

I gotta put my hillbilly avatar back up

My brothers and I fought constant. There was a few bloody noses, kicks to the balls that left purple dicks and all kinds of fucked up stunts. One time my bro flushed my torpedo from my submarine down the fuckin toilet so the next time he was in the tub I snuck up on him and pissed on his head. There was a time when my brother asked for a drink of water at bedtime so we got it from the toilet and told him where it came from after he said how tasty it was.The soap on the toothbrushes, the pepper in the peanut butter samiches.
My little brother would always talk with a gay accent and blow kisses to my brother and that led to even more fights.Little bro got pinned down one time so he stuck a leather sewing needle right in my brothers' ass......aaaaahaha.....shit,that was hilarious.
The best was when dad was sleeping on the couch and I dared my little brother to fart in his face.He did.....but dad wasn't asleep so dad grabbed him while lettin the shit fly...the look on their faces..classic nuthouse.....we drove my poor mom crazy.

I think the real fucked up-ness came from the harsh strictness of the schools, churches and parents in general......god forbid if you said fuck, shit or cunt.....you'd get hit. .....but its better to piss on your bro and stick a needle in his ass then it was to swear in them days.

I think your right there...but I think that struggle for the middle class
(both parents working)...being a latchkey kid...total lack of parental involvment(Unless I said "Fuck")...screwed me up...or maybe made
me the SUPER GENIUS that I am today....dunno?

Maybe it's my age...but there was something about radio then(70's)
that made you feel connected to all the other rebels in the world

....uh....what's little radio?....I been listening to very little radio these days
