at what it means to be an American. This modern age is ripe with
distraction. The daily grind, the rent, the manifest concerns which
plague us to no end....Freedom, for those of us lucky enough to enjoy
it was GIVEN to us by previous generations. It should be remembered to
us all that one day if it is not tended by blood it WILL be taken away.
There are over 295 million people living in America, yet just a fraction
of those people pay any heed to the direction the country's heading. Should we surrender our forests to toilet paper manufactuers? should the middle class bear the burdens of state revenues?...should you listen to the druken ramlings of an unemployed "good for nuthin"...should you read The wall street journel instead of listening to some washed up pop star fart aloud and giggle...and be applauded for it?...I am pessimistic...If I could only live so long I would wager that this Republic will not last out this century...If it does then it would only be in name....I've no faith in democracy when most of its participants can't tell in any detail the differance between a Republican or a Democrat....God save our posterity!...there is hellish world on the horizon!
