Ha - I watched scene from "Singing In The Rain" in my film class last night. When they are trying to mike to actress. It was quite funny.

I kinda wanted to take my dog to the beach but I am not so sure now that it is raining...or is it? - looks out window -

I have not heard of that movie.

The class is called radio/t.v/film it kinda covers all 3 mediums + internet.

My current assisgnment is to listen to the radio for an hour and list everything that they do. Songs, promotions etc. Have to choose from a lame list of stations though. Indie aint on the list. I cant choose jacks show either.

Later in the course we get an assisgnment to choose from a movine list of classics to watch after that. It is actually a pretty fun class.

OCC has a whole film/t.v production course school/course. Owns a t.v station too. (I cant remember which one)

They dont have a radio station though. Another college in the district does (I cant remember which)

birth of a nation?...one of the earliest films of acclaim...very racist
the KKK was heroes in it...but it's mentioned as one of the first
great "films"....

tell us...as it it goes...about your film class...we have many readers
at jacks who lurk...but who are nonetheless interested....I AM SURE!

Yes, I remember...they did talk about it but we did not watch it.
