Well, I went to the DMZ yesterday and thought I'd share some pictures!!!

Image

This is me and a few co-workers at the DMZ Armistice Building...You will notice that I am standing on the the North Korean side of the guard just to say I did it.

Image

This is just what it says it is!!!

Image

These cartoon characters crack me up!!

Image

Silly North Koreans!

Image

If you look really close at the window you will see a North Korean giving us the finger!!!

Image

Bridge of No Return where the POW exchange occurred in 1953.

Image

This is the sign that marks the exact separation of the North from the South. It's the Military Demarcation Line.

Image

This is a picture taken from South Korea of North Korea.

Image

Freedom Bell

Image

In Soldier of Fortune a 1 meter by 1 meter square of this flag is worth a million dollars!!! This is the North Korean flag that is flown in clear view and the flag is one of the largest in the world. It's a size thing!

Image

Who knew you could get Dippin Dots in Korea!!! Yummy!![/img]

Excellent report agent nursie!!!
The coded reference to dippin
dots has been passed on to
intelligence for further decypher.
...no doubt will yield further insight
into a certain dictators weakness
for western ideas...

Keep up the good work!

Thanks DIPN. Those are some pretty interesting photo's. I wonder what is the life of those guards. They are probably the lucky ones, hear so many people are starving over there.

Bring back...

Funny that you posted that link to the US Soldiers bodies that were shipped home today cuz I was there! LOL...I met Gov Richardson at lunch (I'm from NM) and then watched as the Honor Guard practiced to move the Soldiers onto the plane. I started to tear up just watching them practice. Then I had to leave, I could watch the caskets come through, I just couldn't handle it. I was a blubbering baby!
