No...tomato worms(above) dont really cause any damage
to the fruit...these infested the blossoms and then hatched
in the tomato...leaving it rotton at its terminus....yuck!

I always see them horned tomato worms...you go to pick
a tomato and accidently grab one and it's...AAAKKK!!!!

They get huge!!!!

What you speak of is called "blossom end-rot"

tomatoes are tough to get right in containers. you need to keep the moisture level consistent or they'll crack. also if you over water them they end up tasting all watery

washed off and had to answer the door...when I got
back my boy (strait up Bam Bam at 3) had smashed
them all ....we stil ate what was eatable...but
I could'a killed him...I still razz him about it....
