Woke up about 2 er 3am did a tinkle and stepped
outside for a min.....didn't see nuthin...jupiter(I believe)
very bright though....
better luck next year eh?

So... I'm sitting on this log in a campground near
mammoth lakes. Watching the most bitchenest
meteor shower I EVER saw...(4 er 5 a min)..anyways
I hear somebody walking up on the gravel walkway.
Not wanting to suprise anybody I flick on me mag-light.
low and behold a giant brown bear stared back from not
even 5 feet away!
(for that second before I bolted)
It flipped the bear as much as me..we both ran in opposite
directions...after that he came to my tent everynight
to sniff me head and make sure I NEVER slept..had to pack
up early and leave...
That's me perseid meteor story....
..they always say that if attacked by a bear it's best to
play dead...Right!...something's trying to kill ya...just be still
I love bears but?....
know what I mean?
just be still?
