So, my friend's telling me that what used to be called The Arrow (93 something), has just changed formats (influenced by Indie, no doubt). But now, they are I KID YOU NOT calling themselves "Jack."
How confusing to have Jack's forum representing not Jack, but Indie. I'm so glad we are all intelligent.

Is that why when I cranked up 93.3 in the car, it was some wack music and not classic rock? And yes, it was arrow93, and yes, I do listen to it when I can't get Indie, and yes, there are no non-rap stations where I live so I have to listen to all these horrible stations...

It's 93.1 and it is 100% viacom mediocracy. It sucks compared to Indie, nothing special at all.

That most definately does NOT sound like our Jack. Nopers, no way no how. Jack doesn't suck.

Seriously. I'm as mystified with who would think naming a bunch (a BUNCH!) of stations "Jack" as the moron who named a little animated helper on Microsoft boxes "Bob." It's just demeaning to your audience. Clueless. Stupid.

Is it maybe their new call letters???
Jack : OFF

Nope, it's not even that clever, because it refers to a number of stations in various markets. It's their collective "name". Sigh. Morons!

Jack, as in "jacked-up?"
methinks so.
I don't care, I have it on indie pretty much exclusively now.

Well, I woulda said that there is no other station except Indie, except I was seriously grooving on Halloran's show on 94.9. Until they decided to mess with the webcast, and now Macs can't get the webcast anymore.
Bastards.
So it is only Indie now.
