Is it really? Why would they pick a Friday when new releases come out on Tuesdays? Oh well, I already bought my CD for the week (who am I kidding? For the year) Tuesday when the new Deftones B-sides and Rarities came out. I'm doing my part to help support record sales.

Probably play the Replacements, Teenage Kicks over & over again mixed in with other cool stuff. New & old.
Maybe he will try to summon the spirit of J.P or is that just tasteless..

I can neither confirm nor deny this rumor but I have heard from a secret sauce
"A Whore Called Renee" by The Fleiss was the next song cued for play by J.P
Sadly the song was never spun.
It is likely that he obtained a copy of the original demo after hearing it on Mr Shovels Check 1-2 show.

A tragedy really.
The moral of the story is that more people should listen to Check 1-2 on Sundays. You never know who else is listening.
Although I cannot reveal this leak sauce, I beleive it could be somewhat reliable.

hmm...You should send a copy to Nic Harcourt over at KCRW, he always plays new new stuff, and KCRW is a little more "folky" than Indie, and the "Rene" song is kind of folky!

I will do that. Folky is good.

Folky rocks! although I think I spelled it wrong, shouldn't it be "folkie" like "indie" or should "indie" be "indy"?

The report quotes health organisation Eurocare's figures which show 20% of women aged 16-24 are drinking over 14 units per week, compared with 11% in the late eighties.
