I Walk the Line

I saw the film tonight and all I can really say is that I was blown away. Both performers, Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix were superb and spot on. Neither of them looked as if they were playing a part and instead it made the experience one of joyful voyeurism.
Growing up, my father refused to allow country music in his house, and when I came home at six singing Egg Sucking Dog he about blew a fuse. So, I am tardy in my Johnny Cash education and give a great amount of credit to The Kid (aka Himself) for the joy that I have now listening to his music.
All in all, it was a beautiful movie made even more so by having The Kid (aka Himself) as company while I watched it.
Almost forgot, thanks Indie for the tickets!
