Yeah, the lineup for Inland Invasion is painfully bad. Hard to imagine just a few years ago they had the punk rock line up (which I had to miss due to a broken ankle!
)

Yeah, I saw The Cure, Interpol, Psychedelic Furs, Hot Hot Heat, Violent femmes, Echo & The Bunneymen etc etc etc. A great 80's/type bill.
I think the punk one was the following year. Too bad about your anckle.
This year sucks to heaven's hell. Shame on KROQ...shame, shame, shame.
I dont mind GNR so much but did KROQ ever play them anyway?
The early line up looks like total crap.
Id rather go to this LA Weekly one.

Yeah, I caught the Flashback 80's on the webcast. Unfortunately for me, not only was I out with a bum ankle, it was before KROQ started broadcasting their concerts online again. I'm with you, though. Just horrible hard rock acts playing this year. And yeah, G n' R seem like a band that KROQ never played and yet are headlining. Kind of like Motley Crue headlining Weenie Roast last year.

Haha@Kaballah. The Showbiz Show did a piece about annoying celebrity religions. I didn't know Beck was married to Giovanni Ribissi's sister. Hm...I think I've seen her in a movie or two. I like Giovanni, but I haven't seen him in much lately.

its pretty interesting to see celebrity religions..
and the people who practice.. kinda surprising sometimes.
i am a big fan of whatever gets you through this life....
HOWEVER.. if the people who claim to be so holy are holy hell to others, i believe in KARMA too (see jenna elfman)
ahahah
ribisi is good... i like barry pepper too
