Even New York City loves the Jukebox
Photo taken by me in the heart of Times Square. Actually, it's like right at the beginning of Times Square. I wonder how long it's been there, or if Mr. Jones even knows about it. I just think it's pretty cool that clear across the country, he's got a huge billboard pimping out his show. Not bad, considering the only way people can listen all the way over there is via the Internet. That actually brought a smile to my face.
I listened to the Jukebox a week ago before I left for the NYC and none other than Mr. Pete Townshend was on. Not too frickin' shabby. I usually just sleep through my lunch these days, so I haven't heard the Jukebox in ages (probably a year?), but what a day to tune in to. Sounded like it might have been a rebroadcast, though. Not sure. But right as I was heading back to work, Jonesy said that The Good, The Bad, and the Queen just stepped into the studios. What a show. I'll have to hit someone up for an mp3 of that sometime.

Arrived Saturday afternoon (the 4th) and left Saturday evening (11th). It's a pretty crazy town they got going over there. Being back home actually feels relaxed and slow-paced compared to there. Well, Orange County anyways. I'm sure parts of L.A. get just as busy and hectic.obiwankobe wrote:cool, when were you there?
